We’re delighted to share that the recent Mayoral charity event, Bob Ogley’s “The Story of Knole Park”, was a fantastic evening celebrating local history, community and generosity.
The event offered guests a final opportunity to hear acclaimed author and historian Bob Ogley bring to life the rich 700‑year history of Knole Park. From its origins in the 14th century to its unique role in shaping Sevenoaks, Bob explored the people, crafts, traditions and stories that have made the park such an iconic part of Kent’s heritage.
We are incredibly grateful to the Mayor of Sevenoaks, Cllr Tony Clayton, for choosing to support us and Sevenoaks Area Youth Trust as his Charities of the Year, with all proceeds helping us continue our work supporting local people and communities
A huge thank‑you to everyone who joined us and to Bob Ogley for an inspiring and memorable evening.
