At Citizens Advice in North & West Kent we have a huge amount of insight into data about the problems our clients and their wider communities face. Through research and campaigns, we use this insight to influence decision makers, at a UK, and local level, to change policies and practices and help improve lives.
Research and campaigns gives Citizens Advice in North & West Kent the opportunity to widen our impact, allowing us to help those who may not be able to access our advice service, prevent issues from occurring in the first place and enable our advisers to focus on other issues.
We’re a voice for our clients and consumers, we have real time data from our clients. This evidence helps us identify emerging issues, understand what is causing them and make recommendations on how to fix the problems.
CANWK Research and Campaigns team works with other local Citizens Advice, local authorities, third sector agencies, local councils, and MP’s. This allows CANWK to collect evidence and contribute to policy discussions about how to improve the lives of residents throughout North & West Kent.
