Tobi, is a single man in his mid-thirties who lives in a 1-bedroom rental property. He is unemployed and seeking paid employment and is reliant on benefits Universal Credit (UC) and Council Tax Reduction (CTR) as sources of income.
Emma was a young single mother, living in a one-bedroom flat with her three-year old son. She suffered from various mental health issues (which included bipolar disorder and depression) and was the sole custodian of her son which impacted her ability to take up employment.
Ben, a young man with a learning disability came to us for advice accompanied by a close relative. His mother usually accompanied him, but she had sadly passed away leaving Ben struggling to cope with life alone.
