Citizens Advice, as the national charity and network of local Citizens Advice charities, has been involved in an ongoing campaign gathering local evidence, speaking to MPs, and engaging with media on the cost of living crisis. Several of our own local MPs promised to raise our policy solutions with their colleagues, while nationally 69 MPs held meetings with their Citizens Advice offices, and more than 450,000 people saw our social media campaigns.
Although the measures announced so far this year are welcome, many people we support will still be struggling. So we continue to gather evidence of ways the crisis has harmed our clients in order to continue our campaigning.
