We’re delighted to have secured the support of the Green Family Fund (through the Kent Community Foundation) for our work of administering crisis grants to clients in need.
In 2024/25, we distributed nearly £60k worth of support grants on behalf of the Glasspool Charity Trust, and supported 270 households across North & West Kent with £50k worth of support vouchers through local government household support funds. In addition, we made nearly 400 referrals to local foodbanks for emergency support.
With an estimated 45,000 people in North & West Kent unable to meet their essential monthly expenses each month, these crisis support grants are a vital lifeline for many. We are very grateful to the Green Family Fund for their funding, which will allow us to keep helping many people in need.
