When I retired, I found I had much more time on my hands and wanted to do something useful for other people, so I became a volunteer for Citizens Advice.
My role as a Generalist Adviser involves advising people on a huge variety of issues over the telephone and face to face where required. I enjoy the variety of work that comes through and helping people with their everyday issues. Supervisors are always available, and they are very supportive and helpful.
